Benevolence Needs

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THAT SPECIFIC FAMILY.

David Salgado was tragically killed Tuesday about 6pm while driving his motorcycle on the Hwy 101 bridge that crosses over 394. Please pray for Sarah Swanson and their twin 8 year olds Ethan & Madeline. David was 29 years old and Sarah 30 years old. After years of addiction, David had given his life to Christ which is what led them to recently  start attending Woodridge.  We would like to help Sarah and the kids with a financial gift. Below is also a Meal Train link.

Peyton Adams is a newer attender of Woodridge who relocated to our area. Days before his marriage to Corrina Jackson he found out he has cancer. The doctors advised him not to work for at least 6 months as he does treatment including chemotherapy. The only insurance they have has a $5,000 deductible. Our primary goal is to raise the $5000 for the deductible.

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, the Twin Cities witnessed the horrific incident of two Burnsville police officers and a fire-fighter paramedic losing their lives in the line of duty. We grieve for them and with the families impacted by this tragedy. One of the officers, Paul Elmstrand, along with his wife, Cindy, and their two children consider Woodridge Church their home.

As a church, we want to continually show up in the life of the Elmstrands. Often the hardest days are the ones after the funeral service. This page will host some of the major ways we can continually support Cindy and their children in the months ahead. We have created a benevolence fund for Cindy Elmstrand and their children.

Paul signed up to run in the Twin Cities Marathon this coming October for a ministry Woodridge has partnered with called World Vision. $50 dollars can provide clean water to a child in need for the rest of their life. We dream of how Paul not only helped save the lives of the 7 children in Burnsville, but will continue to save lives with his desire and willingness to serve. Members of our church will participate in the marathon in honor of Paul.
